Welcome to CMA QUILTING located in Gold Country on the West side of the Sierra’s in the little town of Soulsbyville, California seven miles east of Sonora.

Why start a new Long Arm Quilting Business after retirement you ask?  I’m fulfilling a child hood dream of owning my own home based business.

I am happy to quilt small table runners, wall hangings, baby quilts, lap, twin, full, queen and king size quilts in a smoke free environment.

I have been sewing since the age of seven, thanks to my Auntie Sis and my Mom “Marvollee”.  I started making my own suits while working in the Banking Industry.

When my daughter was a year old I taught myself how to make Baby Quilts.  My love of Quilting was born.  I started attending beginning quilting and machine quilting classes.

My sewing career started on a Singer Featherweight. Upgraded to a Singer Zigzag and in 1998 I bought my first Bernina Quilting machine and Embroidery machine.   “What a dream machine”.  I also bought a small Handi Quilter Frame and a Brother’s Nouvelle 1500 sewing machine.  This was the start of learning how to machine quilt larger quilts.  Now I do all my Long Arm Quilting on a HQ FUSION 24 with a Computerized HQ Pro-Stitcher and a 12 ft quilting frame.
